Bands of Hope for Women and Children

Hi, I'm Anne Powell, a federal employee, a union officer and fundraising chair for Bands of Hope. I'm Gilda Smith, CEO of Bands of Hope. We provide social and financial support to disadvantaged women and children ages newborn to 18. We support organizations like New Friends New Life, Bryan's House, Genesis Women's Shelter and Promise House to name a few. For example, Bands of Hope contributions give young moms and their children in the Wesley Inn Program a chance to become healthy, self-sufficient mothers. "Because of your support, moms will have the skills to provide a stable, loving environment for their children" says Judy Wright of Promise House.
