The Food Bank RGV is the largest non-profit charity in South Texas.

Prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Food Bank RGV served an average of 753 clients a week through its emergency pantry. Because of the growing demand for assistance, the pantry has moved to a drive-thru model and now serves an average of 7,383 clients a week.

The food bank works with 275 partner agencies, that also serve our community, like church pantries, soup kitchen, the Salvation Army, and many more.

We work with our partners across the three counties that we serve- Cameron, Hidalgo, and Willacy—to get food to the people that need it most.

You can help the food bank, by making a monetary donation. $5 provides up to 25 complete and nutritious meals. You can also take action for your community by volunteering. 1 hour of volunteering saves the food bank enough money to provide an additional 105 for the RGV.
