FAMILIES ARE STEPPING UP: Reported in 2019, more than 2.6 million children lived in households headed by grandparents or other relatives (reference - The Annie E. Casey Foundation). EDUCATION CRISIS: Foster youth are three times more likely to be expelled and twice as likely to be suspended (reference - National Foster Youth Institute).
