Second Helpings' COVID-19 Update

Right now, at Second Helpings we provide food to more people than ever before. When COVID-19 became a real threat to our city, Second Helpings responded within hours and switched from meals shared in group settings to providing packaged take-home meals for struggling families.

Hunger is finding its way into homes where it has never been before. Together, Second Helpings and our community partners are stepping up to that challenge.

In just two weeks, we doubled the number of meals Second Helpings provides to our community. Imagine, 50,000 meals a week – including family meals delivered to drive through food pantries, low-income housing, and school distribution sites.
